What was the highlight of Le Dune Resort
Wonderful
The location is very tranquil. The resort was not crowded and so was very relaxing. We liked that our beach beds were allocated at the start of our stay and remained ours all the time. We also liked the refreshments brought round on the beach every morning. The beds round the pool are even better than shown in the photo of the resort as they now have curtains to shelter you during the heat of the day. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choices and the evening buffet even better. Wine, beer and soft drinks were included in the 30 Euro cost of the evening buffet. Every night there was entertainment after dinner. Although it was all in Italian many of the songs were in English and we enjoyed the cosmopolitan feel. They catered well for the children too.
We found the resort easily with Google maps but it was not very well signposted. We thought having to leave a deposit on the beach towels and only being able to change them once during our four day stay a bit stingy. We also found it unusual that the lifeguards at the beach and the pool both went off at lunchtime and in fact the pool was closed during this time. I have never stayed at an Italian beach resort so maybe this is normal?? The red wine with dinner could have been of a better quality...again it felt stingy. Our

Great location; good value for money
Great location; right at the beach. Nice private beach with facilities. Staff was wonderful and very helpful; trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Great choice for breakfast.
Quality of dinner was less than breakfast; a bit tasteless although wide array of choice (buffet). Lacked some facilities in the room.
